It is a great pleasure for the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Geneva Public Transport and Pipilotti Rist to inform you that the inauguration of the work Monochrome Rose will take place on 1 December at 14:00 at Rond-Point de Plainpalais in Geneva.
Speakers:
Anne Emery-Torracinta, member of the cantonal government and head of the department of state education, culture and sport
Anne Hornung-Soukup, chair of the tpg board of directors
Markus Sauerbruch, CEO of Stadler Altenrhein
Jacqueline Burckhardt, member of the art&tram jury, who will participate in a discussion with Pipilotti Rist.
The speeches will be followed by actions by the Kuverum group, a mediation network, which has processed various aspects of the work of art under the title of “rose explose”. A monochrome buffet is to be served, and the event will be rounded off with a total-immersion ride onboard the brand-new tram.
